I had the privilege to photograph the Afro-Latino Festival held at the Casula Powerhouse on Saturday. A lot of great fun and stalls and amazing performances, a personal favourite of mine would've been Pape Mbaye and the Candombe Urumbe. So energetic and lively! I used to be really curious why I loved photography so much. The best way I could explain is that I think everything looks more beautiful through a camera lens. It has nothing to do with fancy editing programs or make up or even digital software; it's the connection between the setting and the camera.
